Laura Canales, CPA in Eagle, Idaho

Meet Laura Canales, CPA

Laura has been a licensed accounting professional for over 25 years. She moved to Idaho in 1999, earned her CPA license through the Idaho State Board of Accountancy, and built her practice in Eagle serving businesses and individuals across the Treasure Valley.

She holds a Master's degree in Administrative Management (summa cum laude), has chaired the Idaho Society of CPAs' Small Firms Committee, served as President of the American Society of Women Accountants in Boise, and teaches business and accounting courses through Boise Schools Community Education.

But what sets Laura apart isn't her credentials. It's what clients say about her, consistently, across every review and recommendation: she takes the time to teach.

She doesn't process your return and send you on your way. She walks you through every line, explains what the numbers mean, shows you where your business stands financially, and makes sure you leave every meeting more informed about your own money.

"I believe you should understand your own money."

Most people hand their financial documents to a professional and hope for the best. They don't ask questions because they feel like they should already know the answers. That's not how this relationship should work.

Whether your books are perfect or haven't been touched in two years, you'll never be judged here. Every client should walk out of a meeting knowing more than when they walked in. When you understand your own finances, you make better decisions, you worry less, and you stay in control.

Surveys consistently show that most Americans don't feel confident about their tax situation. Laura's goal is to change that for every client she works with.
